Eunbi Lee

PhD Candidate

Eunbi Lee is a Ph.D candidate in the Department of Communication at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her research interests pertain to storytelling and embodied activism of migrant women of color in the history of the U.S military empire. In particular, she is researching on the way in which Asian and migrant  massage/sex workers embody sexuality, eros, and subjectivity, and combat stigmas of sex work and human trafficking for survival, thriving, and solidarity through feminist, queer, and performance studies. She is also interested in critical pedagogy and media literacy for community-based learning and activism.
