Bio
Ana Julia (she/her) is a 3rd year Ph.D. Candidate in the UMass Communication Program. She holds a master’s degree in Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (2017-2019) where she defended her thesis “Milan Kundera: Art and Philosophy in the Novel: A Reading of The Unbearable Lightness of Being”. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Federal University of Uberlandia (2012-2016) where she defended her monograph “Existentialist Crisis and Postmodernity and its Discontents: Sartre and Bauman in Comparative Perspective”.
