The Graduate Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 8, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. in the Mullins Center.
Candidates must check in between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., wearing regalia, at the tent set up to the west of the Mullins Center. At this time, they will receive final instructions for the procession. Strollers, baby carriers, food, and drinks are not permitted in the student seating area. In addition, candidates should not carry purses, briefcases, or extra clothing into the arena; the University cannot be responsible for lost or stolen property.
Guests should be seated by 8:45 a.m. The processional will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
A reception is planned for graduate degree recipients, their guests, and faculty immediately following the ceremony, which is expected to conclude at approximately 11:15 a.m. The reception will take place under the tent on the west side of the Mullins Center. Refreshments will be served.
Degree candidates who wish to indicate the pronunciation of their names for the Commencement announcers may do so by calling the Graduate School’s Commencement voice mail at 413-577-6208 between 3:00 p.m. on April 9, 2015 and 3:00 p.m. on May 6, 2015.
