Student Staff
When available, openings for fall, spring, and summer staff are posted to the UMass Student Job Board and included on this page. CMASS typically hires part-time (8-10 hour/week) student employees for office assistant, outreach, marketing, and cultural programming positions. Applicants must be enrolled full-time and in good academic standing.
Professional Staff

Upward Bound
UMass Upward Bound typically hires residential and instructional staff for its six week summer program (June–August). Some positions include free room and board for the duration. Additional positions may be available through AmeriCorps.

CMASS is now hiring for summer and fall 2026 for these part-time (8–10 hour/week) positions. Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled full-time and in good academic standing.
Summer 2026 Outreach Assistant: work with the Office Manager and Assistant Directors to provide accurate information about CMASS programming services and resources during Ready for the U. Email application materials to @email.
