Envision, engage and design the best possible solution to a social justice issue.
Revenue holding organizations are invited to participate as teams. A team consists of three students that did not participate the previous year. Teams are presented with a scenario to analyze and propose the best possible solution to effect positive change in response to a social justice issue. A panel of judges will determine the top three solutions that will move to the final competition which is broadcasted live in the UVC TV19 studio for RSO membership to view.
Teams have to attend one coaching session and have the opportunity to meet individually with a coach as necessary. Teams are judged on their solution to the problem, PowerPoint and 15 minute oral presentation.
First prize: trophy and $1000 transfer to organization represented by team with highest score.
Second prize: trophy and $500 transfer to organization represented by team with the second highest score.
Third prize: trophy and $300 transfer to organization represented by team with the third highest score.

Teams will have several opportunities to receive coaching in preparing a PowerPoint presentation and a 15-minute oral presentation. These presentations are made in front of a panel of five judges during a live broadcast of the competition in the UVC TV19 studio..
