This workshop, which will include a keynote address with Q & A from Professor Fernandez, will provide a collaborative, interdisciplinary learning experience about the role of classical monsters in modern culture. We will draw literary and material evidence from various regions of the ancient Mediterranean and West Asia, such as Mesopotamia, the Levant (including Egypt), and Greece.
