In June 2019, after attending a faculty development workshop in New Jersey, Fan Yihong visited Amherst to see old friends and stop by CIE to talk with faculty and staff (pictured right).  She made contact with Alessandra Mucci-Ramos who lives in Amherst works as a counselor with the Amherst school system. Fan has been working at Southwest Jiaotong University with the Center for Faculty Development.
