Bring your “chowda” bowls and your corn bread pans!! Please come and enjoy this hands-on class to learn more about our country’s own cherished food history by exploring our grass roots from both the Northeast and the Southeast regions. You’ll experience traditional home style recipes from 3 of our most authentic professionals (Chef Smurro has taught and lived in Charleston SC, Chef Joseph grew even deeper down in Georgia and Chef Terranova is from our very own Rhode Island). This is as real as its going to get!

Pizza & Pasta Festival
In my generation the family kitchen inspired many chefs; in my kitchen Mom cooked during the week our family meal and on weekends Dad joined the cooking of very special Sunday dinners. On Saturday the Sugo de Pomadoro was prepared this formed the basis for many of my favorite recipes. I will demonstrate my favorite Pizza and Pasta dishes along with informative information on choosing quality ingredients and understanding the procedure.

ACF Competition Briefing with Judges
Mandatory for all competing teams!
During this mandatory meeting Chief Judge Noble Masi will discuss the competition; each team will then receive a market basket and be given 40 minutes to write their menu and set up their speed racks.
