Valeria Molinelli

Valeria Molinelli was born in Lima, Peru and started in the culinary world at age 18; she has traveled around the world and trained in kitchens in Southeast Asia and Europe, including the Ashford Castle Hotel in Ireland and the Swissôtel in Peru. She possesses a wealth of knowledge in her native Peruvian Cuisine and is well versed in New Latin Cuisine.

Molinelli has designed curricula for the Annual Chef's Culinary Conference at the University of Massachusetts, and has organized food seminars for Nation's Restaurant News, Fishery Products International and Hormel Foods. In her current role as director for Culinary Events, Molinelli oversees all events at the College of Culinary Arts at the Providence Campus of Johnson & Wales and runs the Special Functions Club. In addition, she works as private sous chef for University President John Bowen.
