Joseph directs the CESL office and works to promote civic engagement and service-learning initiatives across campus and throughout western Massachusetts. He represents CESL in numerous committees on and off campus and co-coordinates the CESL Faculty Fellows program. On sabbatical spring/summer 2023.

Ellen Correa

Ellen serves as the Academic Director for a student-run service-learning program—The Boltwood Project—and teaches Learning through Community Engagement, an introductory service learning course, as well as senior capstone classes. For spring/summer 2023 Ellen is the Acting CESL Director.

Chris Felton

Chris works with CESL students, faculty and staff on building and sustaining reciprocal relationships with our community partners.

Candice Travis

Candice advises students in the Civic Engagement and Public Service (CEPS) certificate program and the CivX track of the Bachelor's Degree with Individual Concentration (BDIC), teaches Learning through Community Engagement, and oversees CESL's outreach and undergraduate advising.
