Applying for Teaching Jobs

The job market outlook for all types of educators will be strong over the next decade, as educators retire and schools’ needs evolve. The timeline for hiring varies per school district, but it is generally a later schedule ranging from early spring through the summer months. You should familiarize yourself with job boards that list opportunities, as well as connect with schools or institutions you have participated in student teaching, practicums or teaching assistantships.

Career Fairs

Career fairs are excellent ways to get in front of recruiters and let them know why you are a strong candidate for their school system.
