Complete the employment application in its entirety. Application materials may be emailed, mailed or faxed to the Recreation & Wellbeing senior staff for that position. Applications are typically kept on file for one semester. Positions are available to UMass students who are eligible for student employment. To be eligible for student employment during the academic year, you must be enrolled for 6 or more credits/semester.

With your application, you must provide:
1. copy of your SPIRE class schedule
2. copy of your workstudy award amount if you have workstudy
3. copy of your certification(s) if applicable

To be hired, you will need to show ORIGINAL documentation (copies not accepted):
(1) an unexpired passport or passport card OR
(2) photo identification AND a birth certificate or social security card

To expedite the payroll process if you are hired, please have the required documentation with you on campus. Direct deposit is mandatory for student employees. Please make sure you have set up a checking or savings account at a bank prior to seeking employment with Campus Recreation. If hired, you will be required to complete the direct deposit form and other hire packet forms.
