In the Recreation Center, the men's and women's locker rooms are located on level 1. Day lockers are available for temporary use (no overnight storage). Provide your own lock or check out a lock (as available) with your UCard at the equipment desk. Locks must be removed 15 minutes prior to closing. Personal locks left on day lockers will be cut and removed by Recreation & Wellbeing staff. Personal items removed from day lockers are logged at equipment checkout and kept for 30 days. Unclaimed items are discarded or donated.

The public restroom (room 115), located on level 1 between the men's and women's locker rooms, has a shower and is available for individual and handicap use.

Recreation Center Locker Rentals (as available, first-come, first-served) -- ½ locker $20/semester; full locker $30/semester payable at Member Services. UMass combination lock is pre-assigned & provided for use and is the property of Recreation & Wellbeing & the University of Massachusetts. Lost, stolen and/or misplaced rental locks are subject to $5 replacement fee. Personal locks are not permitted on rental lockers and will be removed. Rental locker must be renewed or returned by the expiration date. If the rental locker is not renewed or returned by the expiration date, personal items will be removed and kept for 30 days. Unclaimed items are discarded or donated.

Boyden Locker Rooms (Boyden Building Map)
Membership includes assigned locker in Boyden for the membership session(s). Assigned locker is obtained at the Boyden towel counter. UMass combination lock is pre-assigned & provided for use and is the property of Recreation & Wellbeing & the University of Massachusetts. Lost, stolen and/or misplaced rental locks are subject to $5 replacement fee. Personal locks are not permitted on assigned lockers and will be removed. With the locker assignment, patron is issued one towel. The towel service operates on an exchange system, with a clean towel issued when a towel is returned. The assigned locker must be renewed or returned by the expiration date. If the locker is not renewed or returned by the expiration date, personal items will be removed and kept at the Boyden counter for approximately 30 days. Unclaimed items are discarded or donated. Boyden towel counter open during Boyden recreation pool hours & subject to staff availability.

For day use, ID or other collateral must be left as security to borrow a towel and/or lock. Patron should not leave his/her UCard if he/she plans to use the pools. Personal locks left on day lockers are subject to being cut and removed. 

Curry Hicks Locker Rooms (Curry Hicks Building Map)
Day lockers are available for temporary use (no overnight storage). Personal locks left on day lockers are subject to being cut and removed. Curry Hicks does not have towel operations. Recreation & Wellbeing recommends patrons bring own lock & towel if using Curry Hicks pool. Some Boyden and Curry Hicks swim hours overlap or are similar. Swim patrons are encouraged to get an assigned locker in Boyden and use towel operations while Boyden counter is open. Boyden to Curry Hicks is approximately a five minute walk.
