CNS Dean Mike Fox, Biology Chair Paul Katz, and Neuroscience Undergraduate Program Director, Lori Astheimer celebrate the new interdepartmental neuroscience major shared by Biology and Psychological and Brain Sciences.
The new major has over 350 students and just opened from incoming freshmen in the fall. Students will learn about the brain and neurodegenerative diseases as well as the biological basis of behavior.
