The College of Natural Science hosts a yearly award ceremony to recognize faculty and staff members for their work over the past year. The ceremony brings attention to recipients of the College’s Outstanding Achievement Awards and Exceptional Internal Service Awards, as well as faculty who were promoted during the past academic year, and any nominees. Any person nominated for an award has proven to have made contributions that strengthen the college’s mission of excellence in research, teaching, service, and outreach.
Of the 30 honorees at this year’s ceremony, eight were members of the Biology Department:
Katherine Doyle, Manager of Collections, received an award for Outstanding Staff.
Jeffery Blanchard, Associate Professor, received an award for Inclusive Excellence.
Christiane Healey, Senior Lecturer II, received an award for Excellence in Faculty Peer Mentoring.
Rosa Moscarella, Senior Lecturer, received an award for Excellence in Student Mentoring.
Craig Albertson, Professor, received an award for Outstanding Research.
Courtney Babbitt, Professor, received an award for Outstanding Teaching.
Jessica Rocheleau, Senior Lecturer, received an award for Outstanding Teaching.
Laura Francis, Senior Lecturer II, received an award for Exceptional Internal Service.
