Peer Mentors
The Biology Department has a team of students that help out with general advising questions and can help with the basics of SPIRE.
Our Biology Peer Advisors can answer questions about:
- Understanding the Biology major and the components of the curriculum
- Planning balanced academic schedules
- Using and reading your Academic Requirements Report (ARR)
- Tips for finding research experiences on campus
- Navigating through university resources, including counseling, tutoring, and other personal and academic support services.

Biology Peer Advising schedule can be found here. Our Peer Mentors can be found in Morrill 3 room 216, or Stockbridge Hall 022 (located on the basement level). Appointments can be scheduled in advance, or you can drop in during their scheduled time.
