Accelerated 5th Year MS Programs

If you are Biology Major interested in doing a 5th Year MS at UMass click on the links to see Biology faculty research areas and which Biology faculty are associated with the respective graduate programs you are interested in. Many Biology faculty participate in more than 1 program. Only Five-College students (students from Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mt. Holyoke College, Smith College or University of Massachusetts) are eligible for admission to these fast-track M.S. degree programs. To be eligible you must start your research by your senior year in the lab of a Biology faculty member or a faculty member from a different department that is associated with one of the 4 programs.
