Students stand on either side of a table with a banner that reads "Bee Campus".

Bee Campus USA is an initiative of the non-profit Xerces Society for Insect Conservation designed to unite communities in support of pollinator conservation. Universities participating in the program commit to enhancing pollinator habitat by increasing the abundance of native plants on campus, reducing pesticide use, and providing educational opportunities for students and the broader community to learn about pollinators. As of spring 2025, UMass is one of 213 colleges and universities across the US participating in the initiative.
