NOTE FROM DEAN JOSEPH BARTOLOMEO

As of July 1, BDIC officially became part of University Without Walls (UWW), joining other interdisciplinary academic programs, including the UWW interdisciplinary studies major, the information technology minor, and the Exploratory Pathways program.
Dean Joseph Bartolomeo, who oversees all four programs, considers this a perfect fit. “For 50 years, UWW and BDIC have both been devoted to removing barriers and allowing students to design their own curricula. BDIC will now have closer contact and dialogue with other programs that share its mission and its dynamic approach to education.”
The contact will be enhanced by BDIC’s upcoming move to 350 Campus Center Way, bringing all four programs under the same roof. We look forward to welcoming students and alumni to our new home in September.
