Meeting with one of our Peer Advisors is the best way to get information on the BDIC major. Peers are current BDIC majors who can discuss with you your ideas and goals for an individualized concentration and help you figure out whether BDIC is the right major for you.
You can attend one of our information sessions that occur everyday during the school year. Following is the schedule of sessions:
Fall 2019 Information Sessions:
- Monday-Thursday 11:00am-2:00pm
If none of these times works with your schedule, you can schedule an appointment with a Peer Advisor by stopping by the BDIC office in 230 Commonwealth Honors College or calling the office at 413-545-2504.
Fall 2019 Peer Advising hours. Walk-ins are encouraged and welcome:
- Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:30pm
The process for becoming a BDIC major starts with applying for admission to the required, 1-credit Proposal Writing Class (BDIC 396P). This class is where you will formulate the ideas for your BDIC concentration in detail.
Applications are due on November 15 for the Spring class and on April 10 for the Fall class.
