Join the Town of Natick’s climate team as a Sustainability Coordinator! Regular duties include: measuring and monitoring energy usage and greenhouse gas emissions; planning and supporting capital projects to electrify Natick’s municipal buildings and fleet; and assisting the community-at-large with climate action. In this dynamic role, you’ll have the satisfaction of taking projects from start to finish, and seeing the impact of your work at the local level.

You will also be part of a team and community that is committed to climate action. The Town of Natick is a Green Community and has made strides to reduce its fossil fuel use through a variety of municipal projects, including solar systems, building energy efficiency, street light upgrades and the decarbonization of heating/cooling systems. Natick was one of the first communities to hire a dedicated Sustainability staff member in 2014 and is eager to expand the Sustainability team with this position.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Energy or Environmental Policy or other related field, plus a minimum of two years of professional experience in sustainability planning, energy efficiency and/or renewable energy market; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

This position is Grade 3 of the town’s pay plan with a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000; actual salary is dependent upon qualifications.
