Changing the Way the U.S. Builds Affordable Housing

Community Rebuilds is a Moab area non-profit that specializes in building affordable housing through USDA Rural Development’s Mutual Self-help program. We are now accepting applications for a construction manager for our 2026 Build Season, starting in April 2026.

The construction manager:

  • Trains and supervises owner builders and volunteers
  • Manages site safety and materials
  • Leads on-site construction of 6 small homes (3 twinhomes)
  • Supports homeowners in meeting USDA self- help requirements
  • Ensures builds are completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Coordinates schedules and subcontractors

You will need: 

  • Three years residential construction experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • The ability to read blueprints
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks

Compensation is based on experience. Housing is available if needed.
