Changing the Way the U.S. Builds Affordable Housing
Community Rebuilds is a Moab area non-profit that specializes in building affordable housing through USDA Rural Development’s Mutual Self-help program. We are now accepting applications for a construction manager for our 2026 Build Season, starting in April 2026.
The construction manager:
- Trains and supervises owner builders and volunteers
- Manages site safety and materials
- Leads on-site construction of 6 small homes (3 twinhomes)
- Supports homeowners in meeting USDA self- help requirements
- Ensures builds are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinates schedules and subcontractors
You will need:
- Three years residential construction experience
- Strong leadership skills
- The ability to read blueprints
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
Compensation is based on experience. Housing is available if needed.
