The Recruitment Coordinator works to contribute to the housing crisis and climate crisis by recruiting program participants for our affordable housing program and our internships and workshops focused on sustainable building and practices. The goal of this position is to expand the reach of our opportunities far and wide with the objective of equity, inclusion, and diversity. 

The Recruitment Coordinator will work alongside and under the supervision of the Program Administration team. The responsibilities and benefits are as follows:

General Responsibilities

Perform 1700 hours of service between [08-01-2025] and [07-31-2026]
Attend AmeriCorps Orientation and meetings
Participate in AmeriCorps and Community Rebuilds events and community projects

Assignment Responsibilities

Create promotional campaigns for recruitment of students, volunteers, and program participants
Contribute to social media and graphic designing work. 
Network with Universities, environmental groups, tribal communities, etc., and promote equity, diversity and inclusion within recruitment 
Table at events such as career fairs, conferences, and community events.
Applicant coordination: Check references, conduct initial interviews, make recommendations to staff, and coordinate onboarding when approved. 
Onboard and support participants throughout their term 
Assist with check in, checks outs, and assist in housing needs
Facilitate term events such as Orientation and Closing Ceremonies
Serve as a liaison to provide group communication from the office to CR members
Support members throughout their term. 

 

Compensation and Benefits  

Living Stipend $1,700 paid monthly ($20,400/service year) 
Education Award Upon Completion which can be used towards vocational training programs like Yestermorrow or towards existing student loans. Visit americorps.gov for more information
2 weeks variable time off, plus all federal holidays, and 4 weeks of site closures..**
