Concert Band
The UMass Concert Band is conducted by Hudson Moore. Membership is open to all UMass and Five College students. Fall semester rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 7:30 - 9:30 pm, and spring semester rehearsals are Tuesday/Thursday, 4:40 - 6:10 pm. Students must register for Music 569 to participate.
Concert Band auditions are for chair placement only - you only need to submit a video if you're interested in being the first chair for your section and being selected to play the "solo" or "one on a part" sections. If you would like to audition, please record yourself (audio and video) playing the audition excerpt for your instrument and submit it to Hudson via email (@email) by September 13th at 11:59pm.
