Research Interests
My current research focuses on the relationship between dust mass and the fraction of star formation obscured by dust in galaxies from z~0.5-2.5. The obscured fraction of star formation for galaxies of a given stellar mass doesn't appear to evolve with redshift, which is puzzling given that the conditions of star formation in galaxies have changed substantially over cosmic time. This lack of evolution may be due to a lack of evolution in dust masses, or it may be an effect of dust geometry. Analyzing data from TolTEC/LMT can help us better understand the role of these two factors.
