Jada Louison

I am interested in the formation mechanisms of brown dwarfs and planetary-mass objects, in particular how we can better understand the accretion physics of young protoplanets. My current research involves measuring accretion rates of stellar and substellar objects using Keck/LRIS, and expanding the current range of spectroscopic continuum and line excess measurements for better accretion comparisons. My advisors are Kate Follette & Kimberly Ward-Duong.
