The University Senior Survey (USS) is administered annually and designed to collect feedback from seniors poised to graduate about their academic experiences in their major(s) and at UMass Amherst more broadly.
Class of 2026 University Senior Survey
The 2026 Senior Survey is open from April 23 to May 26.
All graduating seniors who complete the Senior Survey are eligible to receive a complimentary Class of 2026 car magnet at the May 6th Commencement Fair while supplies last! You can also pick up a magnet at the ASER office, 232 Whitmore, between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday 5/11 to Thursday 5/14.

2025 Senior Survey
The 2025 survey included questions related to:
- Satisfaction in major and at UMass overall
- Climate and belonging in major and at UMass
- Participation in High Impact Practices (HIPs)
- University learning objectives
- Artificial intelligence
- Student affiliations with UMass groups
- Hours working for pay on or off campus
ASER administered the 2025 survey online to UMass seniors who graduated in February, or who were expected to graduate in May or September (based on student records information available on April 3). Seniors were invited to complete the survey in an email and in subsequent reminder emails. In addition, IT installed LMS notifications to encourage response. The survey was available from April 22-May 21. We matched the survey population with degree records to identify seniors who received a degree in February, May, or September of 2025. The total number of graduated seniors who were included in our survey population was 5,769. Of these, 2,202 seniors took the survey for a participation rate of 38%.

ASER Dashboards
