2018 Doctoral Student Experience Survey
In April 2018, all UMass Amherst doctoral students (N=2,449) enrolled in state-funded programs were invited to complete the Doctoral Student Experiences Survey. The survey was commissioned by the Dean of the Graduate School and designed in collaboration with ASER to gather information about students’ experiences in their programs of study and at UMass Amherst more broadly, and included questions about academic experiences, career interests and plans, engagement with the Graduate School’s Office of Professional Development, mentoring, and awareness of campus-based wellness resources.
