INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION:
Michelle Falcón Fontánez is currently seeking a talented and motivated Video Editing Intern/Production Assistant to join the team and assist in bringing creative projects to life. This role offers flexible remote work options, depending on the production schedule, allowing for a mix of in-person and remote work.
As a Video Editing Intern/Production Assistant, you will work closely with Michelle Falcón Fontánez to support various aspects of video production. Your role will include video editing and contributing creatively to the storytelling process. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a post-production environment. Assisting on set during shoots vary depending on the production schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with editing video footage using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.);
- Help organize and manage video files for easy access and workflow efficiency;
- Assist on set with video, audio, and lighting setups on case to case basis;
- Collaborate on creative concepts and provide input on projects;
- Support the production with administrative tasks as needed;
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong interest in production with a focus on editing;
- Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro;
- Experience with video production equipment (cameras, lighting, audio) is a plus;
- A creative, problem-solving mindset with a passion for storytelling;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail;
- Availability to work 10 hours per week.

- In lieu of monetary compensation, the intern will receive a 2-hour photography session that includes a range of headshots, a customized lifestyle shoot, and video footage from the photography session to use in their own content creation.
