The Art History Society met in person this year under the direction of sophomore, Jane Curran. We kicked off the year watching the provocative film, “The Lost Leonardo,” and heard from Professors Denny, Schmitter, and Ho about their work. Professor Kurzcinski walked us through her UMCA exhibition, “Side Show: Nicole Eisenman’s Modernist Inspirations,” while Professor Çakmak inspired the students with information about graduate school in Art History. Senior Olivia Padula talked about her adventures abroad last semester. We rounded up the year with cocoa and coloring (in Art History coloring books of course!) to keep the stress of finals at bay.
