The Student Union Art Gallery is pleased to present All Ages, a thesis exhibition by BFA candidate K. F. Otis, in the Department of Art at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
From the artist:
K. F. Otis has been developing All Ages since 2023 with the purpose of raising awareness of the prevalence of age discrimination, and to promote intergenerational communication. The exhibition of this work is a culmination of photography and audio recordings that share the personal journeys, professions, and passions of twelve local individuals. Whether you are interested in painting, medicine, karate, volunteering, outdoor recreation, Russian cinema, or what it was like to grow up in Brooklyn in the 1940s — consider these topics mere icebreakers. There’s legitimately something for everyone in this exhibition. It’s a unique opportunity to expand your peer groups, share experiences, laugh, cry (if you must), and broaden generational perspectives. Join us during the reception for an opportunity to meet all twelve collaborators.
