Laura Holland teaches Junior Year Writing in the Studio Art Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has written a monthly column on visual art for Preview Massachusetts magazine since 2006, and works as a freelance writer for various publications including Art New England. Laura’s work in book arts combine her experience in writing with her interest in visual art. She has exhibited her artist books at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, Kalamazoo Book Arts Center, ArtisTree Gallery in Woodstock, Vermont, 110 Church Gallery in Philadelphia, Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, and the Hampden Gallery, at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Internationally, her books have been displayed at the Gallery Tymutopiyapres in Lviv, Ukraine, Galerie Neurotitan in Berlin, Germany, and the Museum Weserburg, in Bremen, Germany.
