This exhibition brings together a series of works in drawing, painting, and printmaking that explore the intersections of disability, diaspora, and postcolonial history. Grounded in the artist’s experience as a neurodivergent Korean diasporic practitioner, the work approaches fragmentation as a generative condition through which perception and memory are continually negotiated.

Through materials such as sumi ink, charcoal, and mulberry paper, Kim employs repetition and layering to create surfaces that unfold gradually, inviting close and sustained viewing. Nuanced shifts in texture, tone, and reflection emerge over time, reflecting processes of translation, adaptation, and displacement.

Join us for the reception and artist talk on April 15.
