Professional Bio
I refer to my work as “Social Expressionism.“ I often look to the past for visual resources and this exploration has exposed me to the richness, craftsmanship and spirituality of the cultures of Western Europe, Africa and Ancient Mexico. The complexities of the present and the possibilities of the future are also a constant basis of imagery, concept and metaphor. Social history, current events of our world and my life are such a powerful and compelling source of aesthetic guidance for me and I have attempted to use their influence.
