Lena Garcia

Lena is an artist and a teacher.  Even as a young girl she had to create.  Exploring and experimenting with any medium she could get her hands on ultimately led to her favorite medium, Oil Painting.  Her current work focuses on slowing down and finding the beauty in life.

Her love of all forms of art making and sharing it with people has inspired her to teach.  She teaches watercolor, oil painting and drawing at local community centers to children and adults.  When she completes her MA in Art Education, she plans to work with middle school and/or high school students.
