Professor Gómez recently published "Nuestra Señora del Mal Querer: Marian Imagery and Rosalía’s Ascent to Pop Urbano Royalty," an article that appears in the latest special issue of "Scholar and Feminist Online, " entitled, "Race-ing Queens," which was edited by Mira 'Assaf Kafantaris, Treva B. Lindsey, and Professor Drimmer. The issue gathers together a collection of essays that examine the intersections of queenship and race through a transhistorical lens.
