From Here to Career: Coffee & Chat with HFA Alumni

Mark your calendars! There will be an HFA Homecoming Event, From Here to Career: Coffee & Chat with HFA Alumni, 1:30-3:30 pm, Friday, November 3, South College Commons.

This is a unique opportunity for our current students to chat informally with a group of dynamic alumni who are eager to talk and offer advice about careers and career paths.  Please see this link for a list of confirmed alumni participants. While at UMass, these alums majored or completed graduate degrees in Dance, English, French, History, History of Art & Architecture, Linguistics and Philosophy, Music Education, and Theater. 

We are delighted to say that our own Isabel Ruiz Cano will be here for this event. Isabel currently works as the Assistant Curator at the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art. She graduated from UMass with a Master's Degree in the History of Art and Architecture in 2023, after receiving a B.A. in Art History with a concentration in Museum Studies from Smith College in 2021. She loves to connect students with local opportunities—come chat with Isabel on Friday!
