Afro-Am Graduate Symposium: (Re)imagining Black Futures
The Afro-American Studies Graduate Student Council (AAGC) and W.E.B. Du Bois Department of Afro-American Studies, invite the UMASS and Five Colleges community to join us on Saturday, April 27 for our Graduate Student Symposium “(Re)imagining Black Futures: Intersectionality and Coalition Building for Reshaping Black Realities.” The Symposium features working scholars, graduate students, and Du Bois Department alumni from across the country in order to explore topics of Black politics, Black culture, Black literature, and Black Feminisms, within the framework of envisioning the future of Black communities and Black Studies.
