After completing their exams and Defense, all students must fill out a Degree Eligibility Form and share it by email with the Department Assistant and GPD for DocuSign approval. This form can be found on the Graduate School website at: https://www.umass.edu/graduate/documents/masters-degree-eligibility-form-non-thesis-students. The GPD or Department Assistant submits the Degree Eligibility Form and Oral Defense forms to the Office of Degree Requirements over email by the deadline for the appropriate degree granting period (https://www.umass.edu/graduate/policies/academic-calendar). The deadlines are absolute and no exceptions will be made by the UMass Graduate School.
