To be counted toward the minor, all courses in History of Art and Architecture must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher.  Additionally, at least three of the five courses must be taken in the Department of History of Art and Architecture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.  For any course taken outside of the University, the student must provide a copy of the syllabus and petition the faculty to have the course count towards the minor.  Any upper-level course taken off-campus must be approved by the advisor or the Undergraduate Program Director.
