Symposia

In 2020, we started a project on contemporary architecture by identifying three patterns dominating pedagogy and practice.  We come to “Quickness” as the final chapter in this extended investigation, completing a cycle that opened with “Exactitude” and its counterparts and continued with “Multiplicity,” expanding into further networks and matrices.

The Department of Architecture is pleased to present the Multicultural Futuring Symposium– an exhibition, a panel discussion & workshop. Together, these events highlight the interconnected nature of Afro and Indigenous Futurisms and their necessary role in promoting social and environmental justice. All events are free and open to the public.
