UMass Amherst recently became one of the first academic partners to join the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) Building Information Research Database (BRIK). BRIK is an interactive portal offering online access to peer-reviewed research publications and case studies in all facets of design and building, from pre-design, design, and construction through occupancy and reuse (https://www.brikbase.org/). Selected research publications from UMass faculty will be available through the portal, which is particularly useful to practitioners for accessing relevant research.
