Associate Professor Caryn Brause has published "Cultivating Stewardship in the Next Generation of Designers: Employing an Experiential Case Based Method Using Living Building Projects" in the Journal of Green Building. The article addresses how Brause's experiential applied professional practice course, Voices From the Field, employs cases pursuing high-performance building certifications to demonstrate the interrelationship of technical, organizational, behavioral, and operational domains during the process of taking buildings from concept to realization.
