Spring 2020 Lecture Series Announced

The Department of Architecture at UMass is delighted to present our Spring 2020 Lecture Series. The six lectures feature world-class architects and designers who will speak about their design practices and/or research in architectural theory, history, sustainability, and technology. We are thrilled to begin the spring series with renouned theorist and historian Beatriz Colomina who will share her talk on Wednesday January 29th.
Eric Bunge, principal of nARCHITECTS (with Mimi Hoang), will speak on February 12th. March features urban planner Deborah Morris on the 4th; architectural historian Erika Naginski on the11th; and architect Tamar Zinguer, author of Architecture in Play on the 25th. Architect Jesse Reiser, founding partner of Reiser+Umemoto, RUR Architecture closes the series with his lecture on April 15th.

Lectures begin at 5:30pm in Design Building, Room 170. All lectures are free and open to the public. Free parking is available after 5:00pm in surface lots.
