Citizen Jane: Battle for the City is a new documentary film about Jane Jacobs, whose activism forced planners and architects to rethink priorities and strategies of urbanization in 1960s New York City. Her work and her book, The Death and Life of Great American Cities, transformed how we think about urban issues and is still highly relevant today.  Professor Max Page,  Director of Historic Preservation Initiatives is a featured commentator in this film which debuts on April 21st in a theater near you.
