Architecture alumna, Katrina Spade (M. Arch ‘13) is being awarded an honorary degree from Haverford College, for her pioneering work in end-of-life care. As the announcement from Haverford notes, Katrina's Master of Architecture thesis became the seed for a life's work developing and disseminating a technique for composting human remains.
