Assistant Professor Jordan Kanter co-organized an interdisciplinary panel discussion (with Assistant Professors Carolina Aragon of LARP and Eve Vogel of Earth, Geographic, and Climate Sciences) titled “Energy, Infrastructure, People, and Landscape”. This panel invited UMass Amherst faculty to share their perspectives in examining the interdependencies among energy infrastructure, people, and landscape, foregrounding human- and place-centered approaches to energy transition, highlighting academic research and creative practices that seek more integrated relationships between infrastructures, the communities they serve, and the environments they shape. Panel participants include Margaret Vickery (Art History), Maitreyee Marathe (Electrical & Computer Engineering), Regine Spector (Political Science), Camille Barchers (Regional Planning), Eve Vogel (Geography).
