Associate Professor of Architecture and Director of the Office of Civic Engagement and Service Learning, Joseph Krupczynski (with Department of Communications Professor Mari Castañeda) recently gave a talk at Brown University titled, "Activist and Engaged Scholarship: Cultivating Dialogue Across Approaches to Community Engagement".  They spoke to issues covered in their co-edited book, Civic Engagement in Diverse Latinx Communities, including approaches to activist scholarship, research, and teaching.
