Assistant Professor Caryn Brause's book, The Designer's Field Guide to Collaboration (Routledge 2017), received First Prize in the 2017 Building Technology Educator's Society (BTES) Book Award. This award is given in recognition of an outstanding new book that significantly contributes to building technology education in architecture. Winning publications must demonstrate a scholarly level of professional expertise and insight, an innovative and thought-provoking approach to understanding building technology issues, and a relevance of the content that shows impact and influence.
