Associate Professor Caryn Brause presented a paper at the 2021 ACSA/EAAE Teachers Conference - Curriculum for Climate Agency: Design (in)Action. The paper, "Teaching Industry Disruption: Studying LBC Projects to Develop Carbon Positive Knowledge, Behaviors, & Advocacy" focused on insights gleaned from student deliverables submitted in her applied professional practice course, Voices from the Field, in which students have studied active and recently completed Living Building Challenge (LBC) projects.
Brause also served as a juror for the 2021 Building Technology Educators' Society Book Award, an award she won in 2017 for her book The Designer's Field Guide to Collaboration.
